These are common terms to know and understand:
The badge template is what you create on the platform and is data in raw form. Ultimately, you can go in and edit that template and change it at any time.
The badge is what we call it once you use that template to issue or give a version to a person. This includes all the wonderful metadata that further describes the meaning of the badge (metadata).
The badge graphic is just the image file associated with the badge.
